Xiaomi unleashes its new Mi Notebook 15 and 14 Pro powered by Tiger Lake

The Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has now introduced two new Mi Notebook Pro laptops in the latest information. The new laptops feature a lot of the same hardware, but the pair differ in key areas. For now, the company has launched its laptop in its Chinese market, and we have no confirmation as to whether the tech giant will decide to make its products available globally.

From what we know, the company makes some of its laptops available in India as to whether the newly launched Mi Notebook Pro 14 or Mi Notebook Pro 15 will come to India, which is not yet confirmed.

Both the Mi Notebook Pro 14 and Mi Notebook Pro 15 come with a choice between the Intel Core i5-11300H and Core i7-11370H. Both of these processors are supported by an NVIDIA GeForce MX450 GPU, but the Core i5 edition is also available without a dedicated GPU.

As expected, both the machines are Intel Evo certified, and the devices will come with 16 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM and a 512 GB PCIe SSD. Among the two, the Mi Notebook Pro 15 is larger and heavier than its 14-inch sibling. The 15-inch variant comes with an OLED display that resolves at 3,456 x 2,160 pixels, a much higher resolution than the 1600p and IPS panel in the Mi Notebook Pro 14.

Both the machines have 16:10 display panels, but the Mi Notebook Pro 15’s reaches 400 nits, which is 100 nits brighter than the Mi Notebook Pro 14’s. In terms of prices, it is reported that the Mi Notebook Pro 14 starts at CNY 5,299 (~US$806), while the Mi Notebook Pro 15 comes in at CNY 6,499 (~US$989).
