Xiaomi has officially confirmed the launch date of the Redmi K60 Ultra through a Weibo announcement. Earlier this month, Xiaomi, in collaboration with MediaTek and Pixelworks, held an event that hinted at an August launch for the smartphone. Subsequently, a leak indicated that the flagship Redmi K60 Ultra, Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, and Xiaomi Pad 6 Max could all debut on August 14.

According to Xiaomi, the Redmi K60 Ultra has achieved an impressive AnTuTu score of 1.77 million points, thanks to the integration of the Dimensity 9200+ chipset. This flagship processor operates with a notable peak clock speed of 3.34GHz. Additionally, the K60 Ultra incorporates a specialized X7 chip by Pixelworks, acclaimed for enhancing gaming, display viewing, and imaging experiences. The smartphone will also incorporate the Furious Engine 2.0, seemingly a dedicated performance mode designed to amplify the capabilities of both the Dimensity 9200+ and Pixelworks X7 chip.
Xiaomi’s Weibo post has also confirmed that the Redmi K60 Ultra will sport a flat 1.5K OLED screen featuring a 144Hz screen refresh rate. The smartphone will house a triple camera arrangement with a primary 50MP sensor, accompanied by secondary cameras likely to encompass ultra-wide and macro capabilities. However, no further specifics have been endorsed by the brand.
In terms of aesthetics, the official renders depict the phone in Black and Green variants. The rear panel design appears reminiscent of the flagship Xiaomi 13 series smartphones. Although details regarding an India launch remain undisclosed, speculations suggest that the Redmi K60 Ultra might receive a global launch as the Xiaomi 13T Pro.
