Xiaomi partners up with YouTube to offer free YouTube Premium on select devices

Chinese tech pioneer Xiaomi has announced a partnership with YouTube that will see some of its current and upcoming devices enjoying free trials on YouTube Premium. The free trial period for Xiaomi device owners is three months, within which users can enjoy the best of the YouTube Premium bouquet.

YouTube Premium is a subscription-based package from YouTube which offers access to music and video content in an ad-free environment.

The bouquet also includes YouTube Music Premium, offering over 80 million official songs in addition to live performances and remixes. The eligible Xiaomi smartphones for this offer are the Xiaomi 11T Pro, Xiaomi 11T, Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE, Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 11S, and the Redmi Note 11.

Users interested in avail of this offering can open the YouTube Premium Free Trial by opening the YouTube app and following the instructions. Alternatively, users can visit youtube.com/premium.

YouTube Premium guarantees uninterrupted, ad-free, and premium audio and video content on the go for users. Its flexibility allows for multi-tasking, as the content can continue to play in the background while the user is doing other tasks.

The YouTube Premium offer is understood to be applicable to only new Xiaomi devices and may not be applicable in some regions. Terms and conditions are also applicable.
