Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro Launches June 18 with XRING Chip, 120W Charging

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Pad 7S Pro in China this week, and the company has started teasing some of its core features. It is now confirmed that the tablet will be based on Xiaomi’s in-house XRING O1 SoC, which is constructed to compete with performance chips like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite and MediaTek’s flagship processors.

Surprisingly, there will also be a huge 12,160mAh battery with support for blistering various 120W power inputs. The promotional images also indicate support for Xiaomi’s Smart Pen and attachable keyboard, indicating support for productivity-oriented use cases. Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro will be announced at the Xiaomi launch event on June 18 in China at 8:00 PM local time (5:30 PM IST).

As per Xiaomi China President Lu Weibing’s Weibo post, the event will witness Redmi K80 Ultra and the Redmi K Pad, among other recent new arrivals.

Xiaomi’s official Weibo page has been sharing more technical details about the Pad 7S Pro. It will be powered by the XRING O1 chip—the same processor found in the Xiaomi 15S Pro and the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra. Recent benchmark leaks have suggested that the XRING O1 delivers performance comparable to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, placing it in the flagship segment.

The teaser also reaffirms that the tablet will support 120W charging, complementing its large 12,160mAh battery, making it suitable for extended use.

The device will also support the Xiaomi Smart Pen and an optional keyboard accessory, further enhancing its versatility. Another teaser post reveals that the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro will feature a 12.5-inch LCD display, optimized for multitasking. It’s expected to run Android 15 out of the box, layered with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2.0 interface. This positions the Pad 7S Pro as a powerful all-rounder tablet geared toward both performance and productivity.
