Xiaomi Pad 7 Series: Key Specifications Leaked for Upcoming Tablets

Xiaomi is reportedly developing its upcoming tablet series, the Xiaomi Pad 7, which will include two models: the Xiaomi Pad 7 and the Pad 7 Pro. Recent leaks and certifications have revealed some details about these devices.

The Upcoming Xiaomi Pad 7 Series

According to tipster Experience More on Weibo, we now have a few of the tablet’s key specs. That article also suggests that both models will have the same 11.16-inch screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz. The Pad 7 Pro has surprisingly been rumored to come with an OLED panel before the launch of a previous report, which will turn out not to be possible as it turns out.

And those processor details are different from earlier leaks as well. Previous rumors hinted at Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for the Xiaomi Pad 7 while, Snaprdragon 8 Gen 3 was likely to make it onto the Pad 7 Pro. But according to the most recent leak, it will actually be a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 on the Pad 7 and a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 for all your productivity needs on that Pro. According to an earlier 3C certification listing, the Pad 7 will be charged at up to 45W and this can go up to as high as 67 Watt for the Pad Pro.

It’s essential to note that these specifications are not yet confirmed, so they should be taken with caution. Moreover, past rumors have pointed to the Pad 7 line coming with HyperOS 2.0 which is powered by Android 15 and comes with a battery rated at least for a capacity of 10,000mAh as well.

It will probably get a side-mounted fingerprint reader for security, too.  While it remains uncertain whether the tablets will offer 5G or cellular connectivity, do expect WiFi 7 on the new pad as well as the USB Type-C 3.2 port. Although we can imagine Xiaomi will release the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro very soon, which is still not confirmed.
