The upcoming release of the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro, in China has been officially announced, showcasing its design and key features. This tablet follows the design language of the existing models in the Xiaomi Pad 6 series – Xiaomi Pad 6 Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 6 Max – so we can expect a look. Currently, only the base model from this series is available in India with no confirmation on the launch of the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro.
The All New Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro
Xiaomi revealed on Weibo that the launch event for the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro is scheduled for February 22 at 7 pm time in China (4:30 pm IST). The tablet is anticipated to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It will come with Xiaomi’s HyperOS. Images shared by the company show that the tablet will be compatible with a keyboard and stylus.
As per details, the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro will feature a 12.4 inch LCD display with a resolution of up to 3K, a refresh rate of, up to144Hz and an aspect ratio of 3:2. It will support charging up to 120W via connection, and will have Wi Fi7 connectivity. More information may be revealed as we approach its launch date. According to reports it seems that the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro could come with a maximum of 24GB RAM and 1TB internal storage along, with a 10,000mAh battery and a high-resolution 50-megapixel main rear camera.
Reportedly succeeding the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, which launched in China with a starting price of CNY 2,399 (around ₹28,500) for the 8GB + 128GB variant, the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro is anticipated to be available in multiple configurations. These configurations include 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB, priced at CNY 2,699 (approximately ₹32,000), CNY 2,999 (about ₹35,700), and CNY 3,299 (roughly ₹39,000), respectively.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro features an 11-inch 2.8K LCD screen with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, and an 8,600mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. It runs on Android 13-based MIUI 14 and features a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup.
