The Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the flagship model in the lineup, was unveiled on April 18 by the company after the impressive Xiaomi 13 series unveiling in December of last year. The company also unveiled additional goods, albeit its photography-focused flagship took up much of the stage.
In addition to the new Xiaomi Pad 6 series, the Xiaomi Band 8 was also introduced. Now available are the new slates that will replace the Pad 5 series after months of leaks and rumors. They bring fresh designs, improved displays, and incremental improvements in some areas. Over its predecessor, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro is a significant improvement.
Xiaomi Pad 6 and 6 Pro Specs
A similar 11-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 2,880×1,800 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio is present on the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pro. The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro has a smoother 144 Hz refresh rate, while the Pad 6 maintains its 120 Hz refresh rate from its predecessor.
Both tablets include performance improvements from the inside out. Compared to the Snapdragon 860 found inside the Xiaomi Pad 5, the Snapdragon 870 featured inside the Xiaomi Pad 6 is a respectable improvement. With the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, the increase is much more significant. The more advanced variant includes the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 from the previous year. In 2023, this CPU, which is still in use, is one of the best ones available. While the Pro has up to 12 GB with 512 GB, the Pad 6 has up to 8 GB with 256 GB.
The Pad 6 Pro includes a 50 MP primary camera on the back and a 20 MP front-facing camera. During video conversations, the selfie camera has the ability to automatically follow you. A 13 MP rear sensor and an 8 MP front camera are both featured on the Xiaomi Pad 6. The system features quad speakers with Dolby Atmos.
