Apart from launching tons of smart devices and TVs, Xiaomi also introduced some key accessories to their lineup on it’s even on Tuesday in China. Apart from the new Mi AirDots Pro 2, Xiaomi also introduced the 50W fast charge Mi Power Bank 3 along with 30W Mi Charge Turbo wireless charging stand.
Much like its predecessors, the Mi AirDots Pro 2’s look heavily inspired by the Apple AirPods series, identically coming in a white charging case as well. These wireless earphones have a semi-in-ear bud design that fits into your ear canal easily and prevents from falling off.
The earbuds support Bluetooth v5.0 and LDHC Hi-Res audio codec for better sound reception. It comes with dual microphones that offer voice control and Environmental Noise Cancellation features. The 14.2mm drivers of the AirDots Pro 2 provides better audio output.
The earpods automatically connects to smartphones running on MIUI when you open the case and pick up the AirDots Pro 2. There touch controls helps you to control the volume and change tracks easily.
The device comes with an infrared sensor for intelligent wear detection, so it automatically pauses music playback when you remove them. They can connect both to Android and iOS devices, and each of the buds weighs about 4.5 grams and the case weighs about 50 grams.
Coming to the battery life, the Mi AirDots Pro 2 offers 4 hours of standalone playback and a huge 14 hours of playback with the case. It supports USB Type-C charging and takes only an hour for the case to charge completely.
The Xiaomi Mi AirDots Pro 2 will be available in White colour and is priced at 399 yuan ($56) i.e. around Rs.4,000. It will be available in the Chinese market starting from September 27th.
