Xiaomi has finally made its new line of Mi TV Master Extreme Edition official. The two new televisions come equipped with the latest 5G and mini-LED technology.

Xiaomi mi TV Master Edition 82, is an 82-inch television with a 4K panel at 120Hz. It comes with an amazing 178º viewing angle and hs 93% color gamut coverage.

The 82-inch model has an advanced LED panel which is equipped with a total of 240 light control zones. The device is powered by a powerful MediaTek 9650 processor and sports 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The new device comes with the next-gen HDMI 2.1 ports, HDR10+ support, and the newly released MIUI for TV 3.0.

The second television is a “Commemorative” version. This model comes with the latest mini-LED panel.

The Commemorative model has an 82-inch screen of 8K resolution capable of reaching 120Hz. The display can manage up to 1.07 billion different colors and has a brightness of 2,000 nits.

The device also has HDR10 + support, Dolby Vision, HLG and is powered by a Novatek72685 processor. It has 4GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and also sports various USB 3.0 and HDMI 2.1 ports.

The Master Edition sports a 4K panel and is available at 9,999 yuan. Offering a powerful MediaTek processor, the device is certainly a major power upgrade over its predecessors.

But the crown is stolen by the commemorative model. Delivering a 5G connectivity, a 98% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, and a 960 backlight partitions. The Novatek72685 processor is much more powerful than the MediaTek variant. This advanced 8K device is expected to go on sale from October 21.

Unfortunately, these new television models are unlikely to be launched outside of the Chinese market.

Xiaomi’s Mi Master Extreme Edition Commemorative will start at a price tag of 49,999 yuan which sounds a lot, but the specs offered justifies the price.
