Xiaomi India enables Live Video Support for the Smart Home Electronics

Xiaomi India has gone one step further to improve its after-sale services. It announced the Live Video Support service today for smart TVs, Robot vacuum cleaners, and Smart Water purifiers. This new service is aimed to provide an improved and quick solution to the consumers and that too at their comfortable location.

Xiaomi Live Video Support: How to Avail?

Being a Redmi or Mi consumer, if you want to avail this offer, need to register a request on the official portal. One Tech Support Expert will call you to understand the issue and share a link to a video calling tool. Once you give the permission, the Tech Support Expert will be able to see your device via the phone camera and will guide you to resolve the issue. If the issue remains unresolved, one engineer will be sent for the devices under warranty. Point to note is Xiaomi will not charge anything for the engineer’s visit.

Commenting on the same, Muralikrishnan B, President, Xiaomi India said, “We have always focused our energies and efforts towards building long-lasting consumer relationships and offering innovative, digital-first customer support services. With the launch of ‘Live video support,’ we want to provide our consumers with an instant solution that offers a seamless experience and does not disrupt their everyday life. For us at Xiaomi India, customer satisfaction and safety are of utmost importance, and we will continue to innovate and offer them the best-in-class service experience”.

If you are wondering, Xiaomi launched this service for smart TVs, Robot vacuum cleaners, and Smart Water purifiers, whereas the consumers of Xiaomi Smartphones are more. So, the brand is already working on Screen Mirroring Support for smartphone users and it’s coming very soon.

Live Video Support is an addition to Xiaomi’s other service offerings which include the Xiaomi Service+ app – the one-stop solution for all consumer queries, 24/7 AI Bot service support in Hindi and English, Multi-lingual support, and more.
