There is no doubt Xiaomi is expanding its portfolio to various electronics as well as non-electronics products, apart from the smartphone segment. As one of the parts of this journey, Xiaomi, every year organizes a Smarter Living event in India to showcase its new IoT devices. Though 2020 is a tough year for every company, Xiaomi is committed to its tradition. As a result, it announces the upcoming ‘Smarter Living 2021’ event scheduled for 29th September at 12 noon.
Firstly, I want to inform you, Xiaomi already listed a smart band on both its Indian website as well as the Amazon India page and this will launch during the Smarter Living 2021 event. There is a high chance, this product could be the Mi Band 5. Coming to its details later. In the event banner, along with this smart band, some other things are also spotted. Here those are –
- Smart bulb in the letter S
- Table or chair in the letter M
- The smart band in the A
- Smart speakers in the letter T and R
- Watch with a round face in V
- A pair of shoes in N
- Cycle in G
Although, we don’t know what exactly the two ladies and the dog are doing in R and L. Most probably chilling out their life with Xiaomi products. 😜
Now, entering the smart band part. It’s listed on Mi India and Amazon India website with the title ‘get in the zone’. As per the listing, the smart band will have a bigger and brighter display along with longer battery life and an improved charging facility. Apart from these, a personal health assistant and five sports modes including Yoga will also in it. I already mentioned, all these are indicating to the Indian launch of Mi Band 5.
