Xiaomi 15 Ultra to Launch Globally on March 2: Leaks Reveal Details

Xiaomi India has confirmed that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will launch in India on March 2nd, coinciding with its global unveiling. The global release is expected to occur shortly after its rumored China debut on February 26, 2025. The launch will be presented with the Xiaomi 15 series alongside other products because it will coincide with MWC 2025 in Barcelona.

Before its grand unveiling, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra was subjected to tons of leaks, detailing its renders, design details, specs, and pricing. The device has also appeared on the TDRA certification website in the UAE. In detail, recent leaks revealed that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will come in two dual-tone black and white variants with a wide, round-shaped rear camera island. The camera system features four lenses and includes a periscope telephoto lens, with Leica branding on the back.

It is being reported that it will feature flat sides but have curved edges along the sides, thin bezels all around the display, and a punch-hole cut out at the center front. The Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC is expected to power the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, which is expected to be backed by 16GB RAM and 512GB or 1TB storage options. It is expected to feature a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 3.2K resolution and 1-120Hz variable refresh rate with Xiaomi Shield Glass 2.0 at the top.

The device may feature a 5,410mAh battery with support for a 90W wired charger, an 80W wireless charger, and a 10W reverse wireless charger. For photography, the device could feature a 50MP primary camera (Sony LYT-900), 50MP ultra-wide (Samsung JN5), 50MP 3x zoom (Sony IMX858), and a 200MP periscope telephoto sensor (Samsung HP9). The front-facing camera may be 32MP. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to be priced at around €1,499 (approximately ₹1,40,000) globally, with the standard Xiaomi 15 starting at €1,099 (around ₹1,00,000).
