Xiaomi 15 Ultra Global Variant’s Memory, Colours Leaked

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is set to launch in China next month, as confirmed by the brand’s president, Lu Weibing. Like the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the successor may debut globally at MWC 2025 in Barcelona, starting March 3. The device has already got its BIS certification, so we expect the India launch as well. Before the official announcement, information on memory and color options for the global model was leaked.

The 15 Ultra will also offer a 16GB + 512GB storage option, which was featured on its predecessor, according to Sudhanshu Ambhore. Finally, the phone could also be offered in silver alongside the black and white options, where there was also a vegan leather option but only in those colors for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Some leaked renders imply the design has also remained fairly consistent, aside from the placement of the camera sensors inside the big, protruding circular module.

 The camera module should also feature the Leica branding, while a red accent should help it stand out. The rear panel for the black color variant seems to feature a textured design. In terms of specifications, the new flagship is set to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, a step up from the one found in the Xiaomi 14 Ultra Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It will pack a huge 6,000mAh battery and will support 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Compared to its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has a 5,300mAh battery with 90W wired and 80W wireless charging support. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is anticipated to include a 1-inch main camera, a 200MP periscope lens, and satellite connectivity, making it the brand’s first flagship with eSIM support. Although no official date has been set for India, leaks suggest the Xiaomi 15 series could debut in February, potentially including the Ultra variant. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra launched in India at ₹99,999 in March 2024.
