Xiaomi has launched its new flagship phones, the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro, alongside the Xiaomi Pad 7 series tablets in China. The Xiaomi 15 series features Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, positioning it as the first to debut with this processor.

Xiaomi claims the Xiaomi 15 will be the most affordable flagship with this chip “this year.” During the launch, CEO Lei Jun announced a global release for the Xiaomi 15, though he didn’t specify a timeline. It is being speculated that both the 15 and 15 Pro might launch in India in late 2024 or early 2025, despite the lack of a Pro variant earlier.
