Xiaomi announced its next flagship device, the Xiaomi 12 almost immediately after the launch of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC earlier this month. While Xiaomi had kept everything under wraps, today the renders of the flagship have surfaced along with its specifications.
Here are the detailed specs of the Xiaomi 12:
The Xiaomi 12 features a 6.2″ Curved Display with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device measures 152.7 x 70.0 x 8.6mm and runs on MIUI 13, the latest iteration of Xiaomi’s UI which is based on Android 12.
The Xiaomi 12 has a triple camera setup on the rear comprising a 50MP primary sensor, we are not sure about the exact specs of the secondary sensors and the front camera.
The Xiaomi 12 has a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging along with support for wireless charging as well.
The highlight of the device is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset which has been paired with an LPDDR5 RAM, mostly in 12GB/16GB configurations. It supports Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, WiFi 6/6E. The Xiaomi 12 has a USB Type-C port and symmetrical stereo speakers.
The device has rounded edges with volume rockers and a power button on the right edge. Currently, we do not have any more information on the Xiaomi 12, but we are very excited as the launch is also very near.
