Xbox Game Pass brings Valheim to consoles and PC in March 2023

Six new games will be added to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in March 2023, with four of them also available to vanilla Game Pass subscribers. One of the many benefits of signing up for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is access to EA Play’s library of games, with two titles arriving in March 2023.

Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3 cloud versions will be available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers on March 9. With the Dead Space remake having just come out earlier this year, the addition of cloud versions of its sequels to Game Pass Ultimate is perfect timing. The games were previously available for download through Game Pass Ultimate, but now subscribers have even more options for checking out the other games in EA’s popular survival-horror series.

Meanwhile, the critically acclaimed fighting game Guilty Gear Strive is now available on Game Pass across the cloud, consoles, and PC, with Valheim’s early access version releasing on March 14. Valheim is making its console debut as a Game Pass title, and given the positive reception it received on PC, it should be one of the month’s most exciting new additions. Civilization 6 will be available on Game Pass on March 16, and Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom – The Prince’s Edition will be available on March 21.

Here are all the 6 games coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in March 2023:

  • Guilty Gear Strive (Cloud/Consoles/PC) – Available now
  • Dead Space 2 (Cloud) – Available now
  • Dead Space 3 (Cloud) – Available now
  • Valheim (Consoles) – March 14
  • Civilization 6 (Cloud/Consoles/PC) – March 16
  • Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom – The Prince’s Edition (Consoles/PC) – March 21

These six titles were highlighted in Microsoft’s latest Xbox Game Pass blog post, but they do not represent the rest of the games coming to the service in March 2023. It’s also been confirmed that the PlayStation-published MLB The Show 23 will join the Xbox Game Pass lineup this month as a day one game, with a release date of March 28. Way to the Woods is also expected to arrive on Game Pass this month, but no specific date has been set.
