PSG are set to re-sign Xavi Simons by activating the €6 million release clause in his contract. The Dutchman joined PSV Eindhoven last summer after his contract with PSG expired, and had a very prolific season in his home country.
He scored 19 goals and provided nine assists in 34 games, and is now set to sign a contract with the French side once again. But, he will be leaving to sign for RB Leipzig on loan for the 23/24 season with a long-term contract in place at PSG. Leipzig will not have a buy option in the contract, and he will return to Paris at the end of the season.
