The upcoming Renoir seems everywhere around the internet as it approaches the launch period which we are all waiting for, hopefully within this or next month, we can see an announcement of this new generation APUs. We had a lot of leaks regarding these APUs and almost all of the specs are now known but what could be the real performance of these upcoming processors?

This is the thing which everyone will look out for, now, help with that ITCooker (via Xfastest HK unit) has brought some latest benchmarks of the upcoming 8 core, 16 thread Ryzen 7 4700G APU. Also, the chip used is actually the final retail unit of the Ryzen 7 4700G APU, so undoubtedly, more or less this will be the final performance of the processor.

For a quick recap from the CPU-Z screenshot, the Ryzen 7 4700G is based on 7nm based AMD’s Zen 2 architecture. It features 4 MB of L2 and 8 MB of L3 cache along with base clock speed of 3.60 GHz and boosts up to 4.45 GHz, which is alike to the previous leaks of the same APU.

Coming to the TDP, much like its predecessors, the 4700G too operates at 65W and features the integrated 7nm Vega GPU which comes with 8 CUs clocked at 2100 MHz, making this the fastest APU we have ever seen both from CPU and GPU power.

Now, we have the Cinebench R20 and Cinebench R15 multi-core performance results which were performed on an ASRock B550 Taichi motherboard with 16 GB of DDR4 memory. The 8 core Ryzen 7 4700G scores 5102 points in Cinebench R20 and 2168 points in Cinebench R15.
