We were all waiting for the new CMP (Crypto Mining Processor) GPUs from Nvidia, and it seems that the custom cooling designs from AIBs for the GPUs have started showing up. We first looked at the CMP 30HX from Gigabyte, which features the mining configured GPU and custom dual-fan cooling. It’s supposed to deliver optimized thermals when running it on a mining farm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the CMP 30HX is the most entry-level CMP GPU that uses the Turing GPU core. It makes use of the TU116-100-A1 GPU core, which is expected to feature 1408 CUDA cores and 6 GB GDDR6 memory running across a 192-bit bus interface. It also includes a 125W TDP and a PCB number of PG161 SKU 90.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
