Forget the whimsical fairytale; Netflix is dropping a gritty heist thriller. Charlie is no longer an innocent dreamer—he’s a desperate criminal mastermind planning to rob Wonka’s factory.

With a disgraced ex-con Wonka and terrifying, spherical Oompa Loompas, this subversion flips the classic story on its head. Expect dark British humor, high-stakes crime, and a brutal evolution of a childhood icon.
