**West Indies Women** enter this clash as clear favourites. Led by the explosive **Hayley Matthews**, they boast one of the most dangerous batting line-ups in women’s cricket with the likes of **Deandra Dottin** and veteran **Stafanie Taylor** adding depth and experience. Their bowling attack, anchored by **Afy Fletcher** and **Karishma Ramharack**, is equally potent on English conditions.

**Scotland Women**, making their ICC Women’s T20 World Cup debut this year, have already proved they belong. Captain and all-rounder **Kathryn Bryce** is their talisman — a proven performer with bat and ball who has been in superb form throughout the tournament. Scotland stunned Ireland in the opener and will look to build on that momentum in their second Group 2 game.

## Team Form & Head-to-Head

West Indies have historically dominated this fixture — they are a significantly higher-ranked Test nation in women’s cricket and bring World Cup semi-final experience from 2024. Scotland, however, are no pushovers. Their victory over Ireland showed technical discipline and genuine belief.

West Indies’ batting firepower in the powerplay — with Matthews capable of changing a game in three overs — will be the key factor to watch.

## Match Prediction

**WIW are favourites** to win this fixture. Their batting depth, bowling variety, and vast T20 World Cup experience gives them the edge. Scotland will need something special from Kathryn Bryce and their spinners to pull off an upset.

**Predicted winner: West Indies Women**
