Eintracht Frankfurt have signed Willian Pacho from Belgian club Royal Antwerp on a permanent contract. The player has made the move for a fee worth €9 million, and has agreed a contract until 2028. He is expected to be the replacement for Evan N’Dicka, who is expected to leave at the end of the season.
As revealed in the announcement by Frankfurt, Pacho will be joining the club in July when he can be registered. And that is also when N’Dicka is expected to leave, with his contract expiring.
Willian Pacho joins Eintracht Frankfurt on a permanent deal
“I like the Bundesliga, it’s always been a dream of mine to play here one day. I was interested as soon as I heard from the club. That was one of the reasons why I really wanted to join Eintracht. I’m very happy with my decision,” he told Eintracht Frankfurt’s official website.
The 21-year-old will wear the number three shirt at his new club, when he makes the move. Willian Pacho has played 42 games for Antwerp, after moving from Independiente del Valle in his native Ecuador.
Evan N’Dicka is widely expected to join Arsenal on a free transfer. But, his move hasn’t been confirmed as of yet. The situation is still open and he could still agree to a new contract. However, the likelihood that he will make the step up to a big European club is quite high.
