Nobody saw this coming, and yet here we are — absolutely losing our minds over **Kang Dong Won, Park Ji Hyun, and Um Tae Goo** transforming into a retro co-ed K-pop trio for their upcoming comedy film *Wildsing*. ## What Is *Wildsing* About?

*Wildsing* tells the wonderfully chaotic story of **TRIANGLE** — a once-wildly-popular co-ed trio that crashed into obscurity after an unfortunate incident. Years later, the three members attempt to reunite and mount a full comeback, navigating the messy, hilarious, and emotionally messy road back to the stage.

Think behind-the-scenes idol drama, nostalgia for the golden age of [K-pop](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K-pop), and a generous helping of comedy gold — all wrapped in the aesthetic of late 1990s Korean pop culture.

## Meet the Members of TRIANGLE

**Kang Dong Won** plays **Hyunwoo**, the group’s leader and self-proclaimed dance machine — legendary for his signature headspin moves. The red bandana and highlighted hair in the teaser poster are pure 90s idol energy, and frankly, it’s working on every level.

**Park Ji Hyun** steps into the role of **Domi**, the group’s only female member and its visual centre. Her standout presence in the teaser immediately makes her the heart of the group — exactly as a centre should be.

**Um Tae Goo** rounds out the trio as **Sanggu**, the youngest member and high-energy rapper, undergoing one of the most striking visual transformations of his career. Meanwhile, **Oh Jung Se** plays **Sung Gon**, a ballad singer forever stuck in second place behind TRIANGLE — a role that already sounds hilariously tragic and perfect.

## They Actually Trained Like Real Idols

What makes this even more impressive — and endearing — is the level of dedication behind the scenes. Film insiders revealed that the cast underwent **intensive training in both choreography and rap** comparable to what actual K-pop idols go through. The teaser’s sharp dance breaks set to old-school hip-hop beats are the proof, and they are genuinely impressive.

Going well beyond standard film promotion, the production is treating TRIANGLE as a real artist rollout — releasing the title track **“Love is” as an actual pre-release single on May 21** ahead of the film’s June 3 theatrical debut.
