The smart wearable market is dominated by the likes of tech giants like Apple and Samsung. With the increasing demand for intelligent IoT devices, the market value of wearables is seemingly increasing. The latest news is that South Korea based LG is trying to make its presence known in the smart wearable market.
The company launched its new truly wireless earphones dubbed the LG TONE Free having model number HBS-TFN7. The wireless earphones are priced at $190.
The most valuable feature of the wireless earphones will be its Active Noise Cancellation technology. The device’s ANC can tune out ambient noise and allow the user to have a better sound output without facing sound disturbances.
LG has provided adjustable ear gels that offer comfort while wearing the earphones. The companies very own twist-fit Vortex Rib design helps keep the outside noise seepage to a bare minimum allowing a tighter in-ear seal. The company claims that its wireless earphones are tuned by the British sound company Meridian Audio.
The device can be further optimized using Meridian’s EQ sound settings, with four customizable presets offering a better output.
The presets available are:
- Natural for a clean and balanced sound.
- Immersive for a more three-dimensional performance.
- Bass Boost offers extra power and depth.
- Treble Boost for better clarity of vocals.
LG’s wireless earphones come bundled with the company’s UVnano charging case, its latest innovation. The charging case reportedly uses Ultra Violet light to keep the wearer’s ears cleaner and eliminated 99.9 percent of E. coli and S. aureus bacteria. The case offers an LED lighting that indicates the charging level as well as the UVnano status.
The LG TONE HBS-TFN7 comes powered by a 390mAh battery along with fast charging support. The device offers one hour of playback with just five minutes of charging. The device’s total usage is reported to be 21 hours with full charge using the charging case.
