## 🎨 Nicholas Braimbridge — The Artist Who Built Bridgerton’s World

Walk through any of Bridgerton’s grand ballrooms or aristocratic estates and you’re walking through Nicholas Braimbridge’s art. As a **scenic artist** specialising in faux finishes, he was the person responsible for making plaster look like marble, painted surfaces look like aged oak, and entire interiors feel authentically Regency. That luminous, tactile world audiences fell in love with? Nick built it.

Production designer Alison Gartshore set up a GoFundMe in his honour after his death in May 2025, describing him as a warm, deeply skilled professional who was beloved across the entire art department. The tribute hit especially hard because Nick had already suffered an enormous personal loss — his wife passed away from cancer just months before his own death. He leaves behind two teenage daughters, **Flora and Amelia**, for whom the fundraiser was established and has since raised nearly £12,000.

💚 **A GoFundMe set up by Alison Gartshore** to support Braimbridge’s daughters Flora and Amelia remains active. The Bridgerton production community rallied around the family following his passing in May 2025.

## 🚗 Tony Cooper — The Quiet Engine Behind Every Shoot Day

On any film or TV set, the transportation department keeps the whole machine moving — and Tony Cooper was one of its most trusted professionals. As a **unit driver** on both Bridgerton and Queen Charlotte, he was responsible for getting cast members, crew, props, and equipment safely between locations every single day. It’s unglamorous, indispensable work, and Cooper did it across some of the biggest productions in recent memory — from The Crown and The Batman to Spider-Man: Far From Home and multiple Mission: Impossible films. The cause of his passing has not been made public, but his standing within the Bridgerton crew clearly made his loss deeply felt.

Their tribute is a reminder of how many people — unseen by audiences — pour their craft and care into every production.
