Jamie Bynoe-Gittens could be the next big English talent to emerge from Borussia Dortmund. The Black and Yellow club have helped develop Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham in recent years. And in the case of Sancho, sell him back to an English club for a crazy profit.

Bellingham is expected to have a similar big money transfer this summer, but Jamie Bynoe-Gittens could step up and become the next big player for them soon. The youngster has scored three goals in the Bundesliga, and made a cameo from the bench against his former club, Chelsea in the Champions League Round of 16.

Dortmund have had a history of giving chances to young players and developing them into stars. Erling Haaland, Sancho and Ousmane Dembele remain some of the most prominent examples of this.

“Seeing Jadon and Jude playing for Dortmund at 17 and 18 consistently and in big games was eye-opening for me. It showed me I can make an impact on the biggest stage even when I am young.

“I can’t wait to show people in England what I can do. To be playing these top teams on the biggest stage is really big for me,” Jamie Bynoe-Gittens said ahead of the win against Chelsea.

He will be facing the home crowd at Stamford Bridge in the return leg of their Round of 16 tie. And the stakes will be much higher then, for a spot in the last 16 of the tournament.
