The MLB, i.e., the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, is at the door, with fans being enthralled to witness one of the much-anticipated events of the year. It’s all going down next week on Tuesday, July 11, at T-Mobile Park in Seattle. But before we dive into the action, let’s take a look at the rosters that were unveiled on July 2.
The starters were already announced based on the fan ballot, but now we know the full squads. Each league’s 32-man roster, including reserves and pitchers, was determined by player vote and commissioner’s selection. And here’s a cool tidbit: every MLB team must have at least one All-Star selection, even if they’re not able to play in the game or are currently injured.
MLB teams with most All Star Players
Coming to the MLB teams now who are going to participate in the All-Star Game, the Atlanta Braves lead the pack with an impressive eight All-Star selections this year. Following closely are the Texas Rangers and the Los Angeles Dodgers, with five each. The Baltimore Orioles and the Toronto Blue Jays are sending four players each.
On the other hand, the Braves haven’t had this many All-Stars since 2012, when the Rangers also had eight. Also, to be noted, the most popular MLB team, according to many experts, the Dodgers, have had at least five All-Stars for four consecutive seasons, while the Blue Jays have had at least four for three straight seasons. The Orioles are rocking multiple All-Stars for the first time since 2016.
As mentioned, being among the most anticipated events of the year, fans are certainly very excited regarding the same, and it is to be seen what phenomenal moments take place in this year’s MLB.
