## Season 2 Recap: What Happened in Brookfield?

Abigail arrives to confirm that Grace now lives in London while introducing Roy, a troubled boy struggling with loss. Lillian finds it difficult to manage without Grace but receives support from Gabriel.

As the season progresses, a new Mountie, Michael Fletcher, arrives in Brookfield, and a lawyer named Nora shows up at the orphanage carrying a surprising secret. [Parade](https://parade.com/tv/when-hope-calls-season-3)

The season’s biggest shake-up? Lillian Walsh and Constable Gabriel Kinslow — two original characters — departed in Episode 2, as both actors had commitments to other series. The finale gave fans a meaningful send-off with a kiss, honoring their arc beautifully.

The Season 2 finale also shocked viewers when Nora Anderson discovered her former assistant had accepted bribes, potentially implicating her in a serious crime. [Soaps.com](https://soaps.sheknows.com/soaps/news/781215/when-hope-calls-season-3/)

## What to Expect in Season 3

Season 3 picks up immediately after the finale — Nora’s legal troubles threaten her newly established life and create complications in her blossoming relationship with Mountie Michael Fletcher. Meanwhile, Mountie Michael and Constable Jim Reynolds hunt for notorious outlaw Jerry Huntsman.

Nick Bateman as Wyatt, Wendy Crewson as Tess Stewart, and Hanneke Talbot as Maggie Parsons are all expected to return. [PRIMETIMER](https://www.primetimer.com/features/when-hope-calls-season-2-recap-everything-to-know-before-watching-season-3)
