WhatsApp is officially ditching outdated six-digit PINs for European users. The new upgrade mandates passkeys, shifting security from vulnerable numeric codes to robust, OS-level authentication.

- **Why?** PINs are prime targets for phishing scams.
- **Impact:** Logins are now tied directly to your device’s secure hardware.
- **Result:** Frictionless, unhackable verification that renders social engineering attacks useless. The future of digital identity is officially passwordless.
