The first teaser for *What a Boss Wants* is out, and it promises mistaken identities, a chaebol with a surprising weakness and a contract that gets complicated fast. If you love slow-burn sparks with a dash of comedy, this one belongs on your watchlist.

## What Is the Drama About?

Based on a web novel of the same name, *What a Boss Wants* is a romance drama about Kwon Do Hyuk (Sung Hoon), a chaebol boss with zero sense of taste. He sets out to find the woman whose voice he heard on an album. Lee Eun Chae (Oh Se Young), the lead vocalist of an indie band, becomes the only variable in his otherwise perfect life.

## Inside the Teaser

The teaser opens with Do Hyuk getting a scolding from his father, Kwon Tae Woong (Park Jung Hak). He’s told to stop obsessing over AI and save OYES Entertainment, a company in dire shape, as funeral wreaths outside suggest. Surrounded by floating lines of code, Do Hyuk decides to use his AI expertise to build a celebrity who never causes trouble.

Meanwhile, Eun Chae is struggling as a telemarketer, putting up with angry customers and a team leader who warns her to find another job if she keeps causing trouble. After hours, she becomes Soo, the bold lead vocalist of the indie band India Red, with a red dress, striking makeup and a red wig.

## A First Meeting With a Twist

Their first encounter is anything but ordinary. Do Hyuk quickly realizes that Eun Chae is posing as a doctor, since she’s wearing a medical coat with his friend Seo Jin Woo’s (Lee Choong Joo) name on it.

Later, he spots Soo on an India Red album cover and is stunned that what he imagined actually exists. He chases Soo after one of the band’s shows, only to bump into Eun Chae in her everyday look. Suspicious, she asks if he’s a stalker. When he notices the red dress sticking out of her bag, he starts wondering who she really is.

## The Three-Month Contract

Do Hyuk eventually offers Eun Chae a contract with a three-month term. As the arrangement unfolds, the two grow closer through a series of heart-fluttering moments. In one scene, Eun Chae presses her ear to his door, and she tumbles into his arms when it suddenly opens. Do Hyuk is left confused by his own racing heart.

## Why This One Looks Promising?

The mix of a hidden identity, a business-minded hero and a fake-relationship setup is a crowd-pleaser, and the leads seem to have easy chemistry.
