If you ever wished Jon Snow could swing by the Avengers compound, Marvel has been granting that wish in pieces. The latest arrival is **Finn Jones**, and he brings the studio’s tally of *Game of Thrones* alumni to nine. Here is who they are and where you can spot them, based on The Direct’s report from October 15, 2026.

## The Newest Addition: Finn Jones

Marvel confirmed at NYCC 2026 that Jones will return as Danny Rand, the **Iron Fist**, in *Daredevil: Born Again* Season 3. He appeared on stage with fellow Defenders stars Krysten Ritter and Charlie Cox. Mike Colter as Luke Cage rounds out the quartet, so the Defenders are reuniting.

There is a catch worth knowing: Jones played Iron Fist on Netflix, but this is his **first Marvel Studios project**. In *Game of Thrones*, he played Ser Loras Tyrell, the Knight of Flowers, across Seasons 1 to 6.

## All 9 Game of Thrones Stars in the MCU

| Actor | Game of Thrones Role | MCU Role | Project |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| **Pedro Pascal** | Oberyn Martell | Mr. Fantastic | *The Fantastic Four: First Steps*, *Avengers: Doomsday* |
| **Hannah John-Kamen** | Ornela | Ghost | *Ant-Man and the Wasp*, *Thunderbolts**, *Doomsday* |
| **Richard Madden** | Robb Stark | Ikaris | *Eternals* |
| **Emilia Clarke** | Daenerys Targaryen | G’iah | *Secret Invasion* |
| **Joseph Quinn** | Koner | Johnny Storm | *The Fantastic Four: First Steps*, *Doomsday* |
| **Peter Dinklage** | Tyrion Lannister | Eitri | *Avengers: Infinity War* |
| **Richard E. Grant** | Izembaro | Classic Loki | *Loki* Season 1 |
| **Kit Harington** | Jon Snow | Dane Whitman | *Eternals* |
| **Finn Jones** | Loras Tyrell | Iron Fist | *Daredevil: Born Again* Season 3 |

## Who Has the Brightest MCU Future?

**Pedro Pascal and Joseph Quinn** are the biggest winners. Both joined in *The Fantastic Four: First Steps*, and both return in *Avengers: Doomsday*. Quinn also appeared in only one *Game of Thrones* episode, so his rise is especially striking. **Hannah John-Kamen** is also growing in importance, from *Ant-Man and the Wasp* to *Thunderbolts**, and she is linked to *Doomsday* too.

## Who Is in Limbo?

- **Richard Madden:** Ikaris flew into the sun at the end of *Eternals*, which leaves little room for a return.
- **Emilia Clarke:** *Secret Invasion* was one of Marvel’s less-loved shows, so her future is unclear.
- **Kit Harington:** Dane Whitman becomes the Black Knight in the comics, and a pairing with Mahershala Ali’s Blade was once possible. With that project on ice, his path is uncertain.

## Why This Pattern Matters?

The overlap is not a coincidence. *Game of Thrones* gave Hollywood a huge pool of seasoned ensemble actors, and Marvel keeps drawing from it for characters who need gravitas. For fans, spotting a familiar Westeros face is half the fun. For the MCU, it is an easy way to bring in trusted talent.

## What to Watch Next?

*Avengers: Doomsday* is scheduled for release on December 18, 2026, and it should feature several actors from this list.
