## Hit, Flop, or Somewhere In Between?

The film won’t land a clean Hit tag, but with a reasonably modest budget for a big-brand [Welcome](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welcome_(2007_film)) franchise entry, it’s still shaping up as a commercial success. Had the costs matched a film like Housefull 5, the story might have looked very different. The bigger disappointment is on brand value — the original Welcome remains one of Bollywood’s biggest all-time grossers, and even the franchise’s second outing, minus Akshay Kumar, opened stronger and closed better. Against that legacy, this chapter falls a bit short.
