The Lionel Messi transfer saga, which went on for weeks has finally ended. Messi decided to leave Barcelona but the board didn’t agree to sell him at any cost and he has now changed his decision to stay in Barcelona.

During the transfer saga, Messi didn’t attend the PCR test and Koeman’s first training session.

But after deciding to stay, Messi arrived for the Barcelona training on Monday for the first time this season.

All the Spanish papers reported Messi’s coming home to Barcelona. SPORT went with a title that says ‘Welcome home, Leo‘ and it’s pretty self-explanatory.

The Argentine star met for half an hour with Koeman, whom he assured maximum involvement.

Mundo Deportivo also reported the same thing. They said that Messi had returned to training but has to train alone due to COVID-19 protocols.

After a tensed period, the Barcelona camp is now relaxed as Messi will be at Camp Nou for at least the next season.

Koeman also seems to have a good project on hand and he is looking to add some reinforcements before the 2020-21 LaLiga season kickstarts on 12th September.
