Sunday nights just got a lot more competitive. Two rising K-dramas — KBS 2TV’s “The Husband” and JTBC’s “The Apartment Job” — both posted their best ratings yet on July 12, proving neither show is slowing down anytime soon.

**“The Husband” delivered the bigger jump.** According to Nielsen Korea, the thriller’s fourth episode pulled in a **7.2% nationwide rating**, climbing nearly two full percentage points from the previous week. That wasn’t just a personal best for the series — it made “The Husband” the most-watched drama in its entire timeslot, beating out every other channel airing at the same hour.

**“The Apartment Job” isn’t far behind.** The newer series climbed almost a full point in its second episode, landing at a **5.4% rating**. That’s enough to crown it the most-watched cable program of any kind on Sunday, a solid signal that word-of-mouth is building fast.

Meanwhile, the reigning champion of the night stayed untouched: KBS 2TV’s “Recipe for Love” held its spot as Sunday’s overall most-watched show, scoring **15.5%** as it heads into its final week on air.
