Jenna Ortega’s gothic teen is swapping Nevermore Academy for the Eiffel Tower — and the internet is losing its mind.

The City of Light just went pitch black. Netflix released the first official look at *Wednesday* Season 3, offering fans a glimpse of Jenna Ortega reprising her role as Wednesday Addams in a striking new setting: Paris, France. Shared with the caption **“From Paris, with dread,”** the image shows Wednesday in her signature gothic style standing beside a motorbike, with her companion Thing by her side and the Eiffel Tower visible in the background. It’s moody, it’s dark, and it’s exactly what we needed.

### What We Know About the Paris Plot?

The hit series has so far only taken place in the United States, primarily in the town of Jericho, Vermont, where Nevermore Academy is located — making Paris a clear departure from that formula. [NERDBOT](https://nerdbot.com/2026/04/21/wednesday-season-3-first-look/)

So why is Wednesday in France? The move abroad connects directly to how Season 2 wrapped up — after saving Wednesday, Enid remains trapped in her werewolf form. [NERDBOT](https://nerdbot.com/2026/04/21/wednesday-season-3-first-look/) A European manhunt to save her best friend? Very on-brand
