## What Did Ishan Kishan’s Grandfather Actually Say?

After Ishan Kishan’s winning knock in the Ind vs Pak T20 World Cup match, his grandfather Anurag Pandey gave an interview to ANI. That’s not just a blessing — that’s basically a save-the-date announcement from grandpa!

He also shared that Ishan had previously told him that his girlfriend watches his interviews and praises him, and added that just as they accepted his older brother’s choice of partner, they would do the same for Ishan — “open to anything that would make their kid happy.” [Technosports](https://technosports.co.in/class-season-2-the-spanish-teen-drama-series/)

## The Cricketer & The Model — A Love Story Quietly Written

[Ishan Kishan](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ishan_Kishan), the dynamic wicketkeeper-batsman from Jharkhand, has always kept his personal life well-guarded. Even as he became one of Indian cricket’s most explosive batters, he rarely commented on romance. The Indian cricketer was often seen in Aditi Hundia’s Instagram updates, which fuelled relationship rumours — but he never officially confirmed anything. [Technosports](https://technosports.co.in/class-season-2-the-spanish-teen-drama-series/) Until grandpa stepped in, that is.

With a T20 World Cup performance already stealing headlines, 2026 might just be the year Ishan scores big both on and off the field.
