That's the premise of Feral, Netflix's new survival drama. The lead cast has been set, and filming is about to start in Australia. It's based on Shirley Conran's best-selling 1980s novel Savages. What Is Feral About? Netflix describes it as a thrilling, darkly funny story of adventure and survival. Four very different women accompany their mining-executive husbands on a corporate holiday to a beautiful but lethal tropical island.
When the men's shady deals put everyone in danger, the women have to survive the jungle and each other. The question hanging over them is whether they can put aside their differences, self-doubts and vanities to stay alive.
