The second season of Shark Tank is really very surprising. The new  homemade snacks start-ups 'Patil-Kalki' wins theheart of the judges.

Patil Kaki- History

This is a six year old start-up, started the journey from a 200 sq. ft kitchen in Mumbai running by 47-year old Geeta Patil with her two 21 years old young partners. The iron lady starts his business after his husband lost his job in 2016. The two of her younger partner provides a digital spin-off. They found a website for Patil Kalki scaling up the business from 15-20 orders per day to 3,000 orders per month

The snacks like chaklis, modaks, chivdas, puran poli with many healthy snacks like makhanas packaged well with brands. The sales has generated Rs. 1 crore within the first five months of FY23 till August 2022

At first Sugar Cosmetics CEO Vineeta Singh offers Ts. 40 lakh with 10%equity that cost Rs. 4 Crore. Within a minute the boAt founder Aman Gupta  doubled the offer at Rs. 40 lakh for 5% equity and cost Rs. 8 crore.

After her bid the Lenskart founder Peyush bansal and Anupam Mittal offers an undeniable offer Rs. 40 lakh for 4% equity cost Rs. 10 crore. After everything Aman Gupta offers to be a solo investor, but Patil founders accents Bansal and Mittal's offer

Geeta Patil primarily starts to sell homemade food  like tiffins  for 20 people every day. During pandemic situation she started  to sell dry snacks. In her workforce 75% are women who are completely freshers.

Investor's Reaction

Foodtech industry is one of the growing industry like Bikaji Foods and Anapurna Swadisht raised Rs. 881 crore an Rs. 30 crore with several public offers.
