The fourth season of Stranger Things has taken three years, but at last, the wait is over, and it is worth more than anything. I hope, we don't have to experience the means to wait that long for the highly anticipated fifth and final season of Netflix's flagship show. Along with the confirmed renewal that was confirmed already, the production has been expected to start at any point in 2022. We will be hoping to cover all the ting by just needing to know about the fifth and the final season.
Since July 2016, Stranger Things has been the flagship shows on Netflix. Now, each and every season has just gone from strength to strength with more and more popularity with each outing. For the fans, it’s quite saddened that the series will end with season 5. It is mainly the starting of the end of Stranger Things on Netflix.
In the first week of volume 1 of season 4 hitting on Netflix, a Nielsen streaming record had broken like 7.2 billion minutes into the series had been seen between 30th May and 5th June 2022. The series comes to them on-demand on the release of volume 2 some Netflix users will experience briefly the crashes as the subscriber's race to consume the epic-ending of season 4.
We have learned before the time that Netflix had already just renewed Stranger Things for a fifth and final season. There is no briner as Netflix would be renewing the most popular TV series.
Now prior to the production of season 4, the Duffer Brothers had been unsure about the number of seasons that would take to tell the entire story of Stranger Things.
Ross:
In this, we actually don’t know. I think, you know, four to five seasons that are likely from we will end up, but who knows? I mean, none of this is official, and we know where we want to go. We are trying to figure out still how long it’ll take to get there, so we’ll see.”
Matt:
“ It’s hard like four seems short, dive seems ling. So, I don't know what to do.”
The Duffer Brothers had not even confirmed, but it’s all confirmed now, that the fifth season is going to be the last and the final season of the series.
Hell, Hawkins, and Indiana
After giving the best efforts, Vecna aka Henry or 001 successfully carried out his plan to tear and open a massive in between the Upside Down and also the real world. We can expect to see Vecna reveal his true powers on Hawkins and reveal the hordes of monsters belonging to Upside Down.
There is the only person who is capable of battling Vecna one-on-one is Eleven and she just hardly survived her second encounter with him. There has nothing to deny that the strength of Eleven is massive, but it’s more than likely we can bare scratch the surface about what her real potential is. If Eleven desires to defeat Vecna, then she just needs to practice and hone her strengths.
Does Hawkins become quarantined?
Given the danger that the gates pose to not only Hawkins, but the remaining world, the military may declare martial law in the area, and it will potentially quarantine Hawkins. We can also expect to watch a strong military presence if any such Demo0gotgons and other monstrosities start surfacing from the gates.
The saddest thing is the people of Hawkins, those who are unable to release from the town before a quarantine starts may also have to surround themselves when the military wages battle against the forces of the Upside Down.
What is going to happen with gates?
If Eleven is able to defeat Vecna that doesn’t even guarantee the gates to the Upside Down getting closed. In fact, it may require Eleven to replicate what she had done with the fate under Hawkin's Lab in the second season and close forcefully by herself. At the first gate, there were such huge but pales in comparison to what Vecna has done to Hawkins. It will not only aka just every moment of Eleven's power but also close the gates that may get Eleven to sacrifice for herself.
Max will wake up or not
The death of Max just results in Vecna's plan results to fruition, and unexpectedly Eleven was able to fetch Max back to life. In between dying, and getting some limbs snapped, the ad also potentially becomes blind, it’s also wondering if Max is in a coma. We are expecting that in season 5 Max will wake up, but we have to wait to see what condition she remains in.
If Max wakes up and recovered completely, then eleven has the strength to bring back people from the dead. It’s true that the consequences of such power have not been explored, but with some of the potential deaths that just headed our way in season 5, Eleven just requires more than ever.
Time Caper
The Duffer Brothers have already declared that another time skip may happen in the storm, and will become potentially pick up across 1988 or 1989. This is going to coincide with the real-life ages of the actors, who have already outgrown their 15-year-old counterparts like gate Matarazzo that turns 20 this September 2022, and during the production of season 5, it will become 21.
We have known very little about the production status of Stranger Things season 5. Recently, Collider confirms, that the writing of the fifth season is due to start in August 2022. The Dugger Brothers told the outlet as they just taking a "short vacation in July" and included “And then we’re going to come back. I know that the writer's room is going to start in that first week of August."
There are no such filming dates are reported, we are expecting we will get the update very soon. As soon as the script is written, polished, and ready to execute for a table reading, the shooting will follow soon after.

It is quite unexpected that the original casts are still alive in the fourth season which indicates some of our favorite heroes may be at getting end of the tragic and brave death. We have made a top ten list of characters in Stranger Things season 5:
10. Robin
The Duffer Brothers have revealed to kill off such characters from the first season. Because she is the fan favorite, does not mean she is safe from getting killed, and with season 5 the finale season, not any of the characters are safe.
9. Joyce
Putting Joyce on the list is very tough, but if the Duffer Brothers had realty getting prepared to subvert expectation, and after that Joyce is mainly a prime candidate for death as most of the adults in the series, you might expect Joyce to throw herself into the clutches of death if it means protecting the lives of others mainly if it saving Jonathan or Will.
8. Lucas
As the thing that Vecna had done with Max, Lucas has all of the reasons to get revenge. When he has not much of the hot head, when the moment arrives to protect those he cares about, Lucas just steps up. He would not be the first target that aims of Vecna, but his love for Max that just put certainly following harm's way. By protecting Max, his sister, or his friends, Lucas could be on getting the end of the wrath of Vecna.
7. Mike
Mike is the heart of the party and is their boyfriend of Eleven, which makes him the main target for Vecna. The death of Mike would affect the party destroying their morale, and also could be the potential push-up at the edge of Eleven that needs to destroy Vecna.
6. Murray
Murray is one of the best inclusion as one of the helpful and resourceful characters in the series, Murray is also become brave and not getting afraid to put himself into harm's way got help the likes of Joyce and Hopper. It will be very fun to watch Murray interacting with many casts in season 5. if he makes any bond then Murray also becomes a target of Vecna.
5. Jonathan
Jonathan has struggled with short screen time. It just will matter what he will always be there for him. There is also the question based on his relationship stratus along with Nancy having the pair that just potentially falling out of love along with each other, but both facing struggle to admit they're true feelings, and just move on. Apart from Steve, he is the most expandable get a big death.
4. Hopper
In between tortures, beaten, shot at almost vaporized, and there is a one-bi-one with a Demogorgon, Hopper has come closer to death on many such occasions. Hopper threw first his edge into the danger not afraid of harm's way in order to protect the people, he cares a lot about. In the fifth season ever cast in mortal danger.
3. Eleven
The main character of Stranger Things, the viewers already presume that Eleven should be safe from death. Now, subvert expectation as there is still a giant chance in order to protect the lives of her loved ones, and saving the city of Hawkins may require a great sacrifice for them. 2. Will
Will has got a high rank in the list to the theory that Vecna might still wield some influence over the boy and may potentially possess him once more in order to make his fight asking with Eleven that much harder. The tragic thing is not a character that also has already experienced so much trauma, but Will is also the sort of person who would gladly sacrifice his life when it comes to the topic of defeating Vecna.

For the fans, the news is very saddening as Stranger Things will end. The production of every season was delayed due to a pandemic situation; it would have been a long wait regardless. The production was shipped after showing for one month.
A year later the season 4 production was finished. It took over 8 months before volume 1 dropped on Netflix which provides a total of 21 months, or 27 months if you can add the delay in production. The fifth season will hit in late 2023, after knowing the filming status we are expecting the finale to come until the Spring or Summer of 2024.
There is a great chance as the final season of stranger Things might get split in half. We also have seen it currently with the release of Stranger Things season 4, and lastly with the final season of Ozark, Lucifer, and Money Heist.
The fours season has the longest runtime in the history of the series. Particularly, the finale contains a runtime of 139 minutes longer than most films. The fourth season was dour hours longer than the first one, and 3 hours more than the third season. If you consider the season 4 finale then it takes the fourth season over six hours longer than the first one.
