Raju Srivastava, the veteran comedian was admitted at the AIIMS has died at the age of 58. According to the doctors the actor got massive heart attack.

The popular stand-up comedian had a heart attack on 10th August, and was hospitalized after claiming about the chest pain while running at the treadmill at the gym. On the same day he was underwent an angioplasty.

Dipoo Srivastava  said, " I got a call from the family about half an hour ago saying he is no more. It's really unfortunate news. he was fighting in the hospital for over 40 days." The comedian was declared dead at 10:20 am. He was on a life support system at AIIMS.

After 15 days the comedian regain consciousness on ventilator support. On 1st September he ran a fever as 100 degrees, and put on the ventilator  again. But at the end the battle is over.

Since 1980 he was a part of the industry,  got fame after participating "The Great Indian Laughter Challenge" in 2005 . We have seen him in 'Maine Pyar Kiya', 'Aamdani Attanni Kharcha Rupaiya', and 'Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon'. he also appeared in the third season of 'Bigg Boss', 'Nach Baliye 6', and Comedy Nights With Kapil'.

On 19th March 2014, he joined Bharatiya Janata Party. He served as the brand ambassador of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat campaign and was the  Chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Film Development Council. He also laid  the  foundation for the upcoming NOIDA  film city project. After crossing several odds, the comic  of India left us .
