Longest Cruise

India's cruise tourism industry expanding with new voyage. The longest river cruise 'Ganga Vilas' from Varanasi on River Ganga to Dibrugarh on Brahmaputra river  kick off their journey on 10th January.

Cruise Roadmap

The new cruise is 2,,300 km long would sail from Bangladesh to Dibrugarh.  Within 50 days the luxury boat will cover 3,200 km along 27 river systems in India containing the ganga-Bhagirathi-Hooghly, Brahmaputra, and West Coast canal.

PM's view on Cruise

Our PM Narendra Modi stated, " This will be a unique cruise in the world and a reflection of growing  cruise tourism in India. I request the people of West Bengal to take the benefit of this."

The cruise was departed from the coast of Kolkata on 22nd December  with 32 Swiss  visitors on board, reach in Varanasi on 6th January. The capacity of ganga Vilas is 80 passengers. The yacht is mainly a luxurious  river cruiser have 18 suites with necessary  amenities.

Ganga Vilas- Luxuries

In this cruise you will get a lavish restaurant, spa and sundeck. You can get several buffet counters along with Continental and Indian  cuisine in 40-seat restaurant on the Main Deck. The upper decks outdoor  contains a bar with Real Teak Steamer Chairs and coffee tables for the passengers with cruise experience.

In this ship you will get 18 gorgeously decorated  suites. The apartments embeds tranquil interiors with selected colour schemes.. There are several facilities from bathroom with a shower, balcony, LED TV, smoke alarms, life vests,  to the sprinklers.

Ganga Vilas- Ticket Price

Ganga Vilas's price from the same company Antara begins from Rs. 1,12,000. The four day package will happen on between Varanasi and Kaithi. The main fact is all the tickets are sold to Swiss tourists instead of  Rs. 38 lakh for  a single suite.
