When it comes to Apple products and discounts, Flipkart is one of the best places where you can find both of them and especially on the recent Big Billion Days, the offer on the iPhone 12 series phones were just irresistible.
Flipkart was initially offering the iPhone 12 mini for Rs 36,999 and the iPhone 12 for Rs 48,999. This was the lowest price offered on the iPhone 12 series phones ever.
Everyone was excited to get their hands on the iPhone 12 for such a low price. I was one of them as I ordered the Apple iPhone 12 64 GB version (Product) Red. It cost me Rs 45,999 as I got additional Rs 3,000 off on the Rs 48,999 offered price for using my ICICI Credit Card.
I am using OnePlus Nord for the last year and was excited to get my hands on the iPhone 12, which is my first ever iOS device. I was hoping whether it was worth buying the Apple iPhone 12 for just Rs 45,999 on Flipkart Big Billion Days sale. So let’s find out together.
It is always an easy decision to upgrade from an Android device to an iOS device due to its security and reliability. Owning an iPhone simply means you get features like wireless charging, stereo speakers, superfast connectivity, IP68 water resistance, phenomenal A-series chipset and of course iOS, which cannot be found on any other smartphone. This experience is unparalleled.
I was an Android user, so transitioning to an iOS device took a bit of time but after getting habituated with it you will definitely like the experience.
The OLED screen is a huge plus from the older generations of iPhones. The display is very bright with vibrant colours. Watching something on the device makes it worth it, though I rarely watch movies or tv series on it as I prefer my laptop over it due to the screen size. The sound of the iPhone 12 is also very loud making your watching session worthwhile.
The best part, according to me, is the camera of the iPhone 12. Although I was using OnePlus previously, it was a huge upgrade for me. The main thing I liked about the 12MP + 12MP cameras is that they are very consistent for the basic level of photography.
The iPhone 12 cameras are great for everyday photography. The camera produces natural colours without any unnecessary modifications. The strongest point is the portrait mode in the iPhone. There’s almost no competition with it. It also supports up to 4K HDR 60fps support with Dolby Vision.
Overall, the iPhone 12’s camera is definitely on the flagship level supported by the A14 Bionic chip inside.
As I still have the Oneplus Nord, I use the iPhone 12 as my secondary device and I get more than a day’s battery. However, if you are only using the iPhone 12, you will get around 6 hours of screen time and 7-8 hours with battery saver mode on. The battery backup part is one of the slight disadvantages if you are transitioning from an Android device which usually has 4000-5000 mAh of battery.
I have never witnessed a lag while hovering between the apps on the device. A14 Bionic chip packs more punch than needed for daily use. It provides a seamless experience on the iPhone 12.
So after using the iPhone 12 for about 2-3 weeks, I have no regrets after buying the Apple iPhone 12 for just Rs 45,999 on Flipkart Big Billion Days sale. I feel happy to get my hands on the device for such a low price. It is currently priced at Rs 60,199 on Flipkart. So getting a discount of around Rs 15,000 on the iPhone 12 is unimaginable!
