It seems that 2022 will be the year of the smartphone user’s choice, along increasingly unexpected, exact, and specialized lines. Vivo has now expanded this trend by giving consumers the option to use either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 or MediaTek Helio G70 in the exact same new device.
The Vivo Y52t, a 5G phone with the Dimensity 700 processor, was recently announced by Vivo in China. In fast succession, the business also revealed the Vivo Y32t, a 4G LTE phone, for the domestic market. The device’s availability in two CPU variations is intriguing. Among its additional advantages is an HD+ display.
Vivo Y32t Specifications
The Vivo Y32t comes with 6.51-inch IPS LCD screen that offers an 89 percent screen-to-body ratio, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It has a front-facing 8-megapixel selfie camera and a 13-megapixel (main) + 2-megapixel (macro) dual-camera configuration on the back.
The Vivo Y32t with the Helio G70 chipset features 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage and 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Connectivity via Bluetooth 4.2 is supported. On the other hand, the Snapdragon 680 model features 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage and 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. This version includes compatibility with Bluetooth 5.0. The remaining features on both cellphones are the same.
A 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging capabilities powers the gadget. Unfortunately, the device’s internal connector is still the more outdated micro-USB port. It comes up with a side-facing fingerprint scanner for security. In addition, it has a 3.5mm audio jack, face unlock, dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
Vivo Y32t Pricing and Availability
There are two CPU options available for the Vivo Y32t. While the Snapdragon 680 device comes with 8 GB RAM + 256 GB UFS 2.2 storage, the Helio G70 model offers 8 GB RAM + 128 GB UFS 2.1 storage. Priced at 1,099 Yuan ($157) and 1,299 Yuan ($186), respectively, for these versions.
