Vivo Y30 5G launched with Dimensity 700, 5,000mAh battery, 50MP dual cameras

Vivo has launched its Y30 5G smartphone in Thailand. The Y30 5G is possible to arrive very soon in India. It is yet to announce the official India launch information of its new 5G smartphone. It sports the Demensity 700 chipset, a 5,000mAh battery, and dual 50-megapixel rear cameras.

But, the iQOO U5e comes with support for 18W charging. The Y30 5G has a Dimensity 5G processor. It comes in two color choices. The camera module design on the back is identical to the Vivo T1 5G, which was launched presently in India.

Vivo Y30 5G: Specifications and Features

The Y30 5G is armed with a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display that provides an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a screen-to-body ratio of 89 percent, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The Y30 5G is charged by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. It has 6 GB of RAM, 2 GB of expanded RAM, 128 GB of internal memory, and microSD card support.

The dual-rear camera setup on the phone includes 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel big camera, and an LED torch. The Y30 5G comes with an 8-megapixel camera on the front side. The Y30 5G is a revamped version of China’s iQOO U5e smartphone. The only difference between the two smartphones is that the U5e supports 18W charging.

As per the Software, it ships with Android 12-based FunTouch OS 12. A 5,000mAh battery charges the device, which supports only 10W charging. This device has a fingerprint scanner ingrained in its power button. Also, the handset supports face unlocking.

Connectivity like dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device measures a thickness of 8.25mm and weighs around 193 grams. It has a waterdrop cleft display and a broad bottom faceplate The company asserts that it provides a screen-to-body ratio of 89 percent.

Vivo Y30 5G: Price and Availability in India

The Y30 5G is priced at THB 8,699 nearly around Rs 18,960 and will be available in Starlight Black and Rainbow Fantasy colors.
