Vivo introduced the X200 series in India in December 2024, featuring the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro. Now, the company is preparing to unveil the Vivo X200 Ultra in China, with reports suggesting a potential Indian release. Vivo X200 Ultra: Specifications
A leaked prototype of the Vivo X200 Ultra shows its rear lens module and body thickness. The camera module will be 35mm thick according to the images, which is much thicker than the Vivo X100 Ultra’s 24mm camera module. Now, according to tipster DCS, the X200 Ultra will feature a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have a BOE-made quad-curved display with a single-point ultrasonic fingerprint reader underneath. In contrast to the X200 and X200 Pro, which feature MediaTek’s Dimensity chipsets, the X200 Ultra will be driven by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC.
As for cameras, the smartphone would feature a triple-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 200MP periscope telephoto sensor. The upcoming hardware is said to be larger than the predecessor and will possibly introduce a new prism lens technology. The device features a 6,000mAh+ battery, with 90W wired fast charging and wireless charging. There are also rumors that it will potentially carry an IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance rating. The X200 Ultra will be available in three colors: Black, Wine Red (Burgundy), and White, with the White variant featuring a dual-tone finish.
Vivo X200s: Specifications
The front design of the Vivo X200s has been teased by the brand. A recent leak reveals that it will sport a flat 6.67-inch OLED LTPS display with thin bezels and a flat metal frame. There will also be an ultrasonic single-point fingerprint reader. Under the hood will be the Dimensity 9400+ SoC.
In terms of camera, the X200s will still have an X100s-styled triple camera with 50MP, 50MP, and 64MP sensors. It will reportedly remain light on the scales despite a battery bigger than 6,000mAh. Although the Vivo X100 Ultra and X100s launched in China, neither is coming to India, but the X200 Ultra is being discussed for the Indian market. However, an official confirmation is still awaited. Both devices are expected to launch in China in mid-April.
