Vivo X200 Ultra & X200 Mini Tipped for India Launch Soon

Vivo introduced the X200 Pro and X200 in India late last year, both powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. Now, it seems like the brand is preparing for the launch of the Vivo X200 Ultra and X200 Mini models in the country.

The X200 Mini has been available for the Chinese market since October 2024, while the X200 Ultra is set to launch soon in the same region. The X200 Ultra may launch in India in April and would succeed the X100 Ultra.

Vivo X200 Ultra and X200 Mini Tipped for India Launch Amid Strong X200 Pro Demand

Vivo India is reportedly trying to bring both models to India as per BW BusinessWorld. While this information has been shared by unnamed sources, the report states that at MWC 2025, Vivo executives already stated that the Vivo X200 Pro has met its full availability in India, which is why the brand has asked its manufacturing facilities for supply replenishment. The strong demand for the X200 Pro is reportedly a key reason behind Vivo’s efforts to bring the X200 Ultra to India.

The success of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro has also reinforced the company’s confidence in competing in the ultra-premium smartphone market, currently dominated by Apple and Samsung Last year, Vivo skipped the Indian launch of the X100 Ultra, which was unveiled in China in May 2024. However, the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro arrived in India in January 2024, followed by the X200 and X200 Pro in December 2024 at a starting price of ₹65,999. The X200 Pro Mini, however, remained exclusive to China.

The Vivo X200 Ultra is expected to launch in April in China as the top-tier model of the X200 series. It could feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 2TB UFS 4.0 storage. Meanwhile, the X200 Pro and X200 both run on the Dimensity 9400 chipset and boast IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance, along with Zeiss co-engineered triple cameras. The X200 Pro also includes Vivo’s in-house V3+ imaging chip for enhanced photography.
