The Vivo X200 series, which includes three models — the Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini — was launched in China earlier this week. Vivo has not yet said when this new lineup will be launched in India, but a recent report claimed the smartphones could arrive before the end of 2024.
Each phone in the Vivo X200 lineup, these new phones are driven by a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC that ensures the performance of top order and includes advanced camera systems co-engineered with Zeiss.
All About the Vivo X200 Series
While this is just a speculation, 91Mobiles quoted some industry sources to report that the Vivo X200 series could debut in India between the end of November and the first week of December. This fits Vivo’s older launch schedule as well considering we saw the Indian debut of last year’s X100 and X100 Pro ahead in China a couple of months later in January 2024.
In terms of pricing, the Vivo X200 series debuted in China with the base model, the Vivo X200, starting at CNY 4,300 (approximately ₹51,000). The Vivo X200 Pro is priced from CNY 5,999 (around ₹63,000), while the Vivo X200 Pro Mini costs CNY 4,699 (approximately ₹56,000) for its entry-level variant.
The X200 series brings the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 to market for the first time, so all three models within Vivo’s new flagship lineup will be among the early adopters as well. It has a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Apart from that, the smartphones come with Origin OS 5, and the base Vivo X200 gets a 5,800mAh battery with support for wired charging at up to 90W speeds, while the X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini come with 6,000mAh with support for wired charging at up to 90W speeds.
