The Upcoming Vivo X100 Series

The X100 series will make its debut in Malaysia a day earlier on January 3, marking it as the first market outside China to receive the smartphones. Since the phones have already been unveiled in China, fans are already acquainted with their specifications and features. Both the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro feature a 6.78-inch curved OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness reaching 3000 nits. Additionally, there is a 32-megapixel selfie camera housed in the punch-hole cutout on the front.

Under the hood, the smartphones are powered by a Dimensity 9300 chip, accompanied by LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. In terms of software, they run on Android 14 out-of-the-box. The camera and battery configurations distinguish the two models. The standard Vivo X100 comes with a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens (150° FOV), and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with OIS. It is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging.

On the other hand, the X100 Pro elevates the camera specifications with a larger 1-inch 50-megapixel main sensor, a customized 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, and the same 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Additionally, it incorporates Vivo’s V3 chip for enhanced imaging and a slightly larger 5,400mAh battery supporting 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Both the X100 and X100 Pro hold an IP68 rating for protection against dust and water. Connectivity features include support for WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C (USB 3.2), NFC, an IR blaster, and an X-axis linear motor on both devices.
