The Vivo V50 was launched in India on 17th February i.e. today. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and supports 90W wired fast charging with a 6,000mAh battery. It offers two 50-megapixel rear-facing cameras and a 50-megapixel front-facing camera.

The phone comes with an IP68+IP69 water and dust resistance rating and is claimed to be among the slimmest devices in its category with a thickness of just 7.39mm. It also provides a few AI features like Circle to Search, Transcript Assist, and Live Call Translation.

In India, the V50 is priced starting at ₹34,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, ₹36,999 for the 8GB + 256GB version, and ₹40,999 for the 12GB + 512GB model. The device will be available for purchase starting 25 February via Flipkart, Amazon, and Vivo’s official e-store. Pre-booking for the phone is currently available.

Customers purchasing the Vivo V50 can also get the Vivo TWS 3e at a discounted price of ₹1,499 (down from ₹1,899). The Vivo V50 is offered in Rose Red, Starry Blue, and Titanium Grey color options. 

Vivo V50 has a 6.77-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,392 pixels) quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 4,500 nits peak brightness, and 387ppi pixel density. It is driven by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC and packs with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2-type flash storage. The device is powered with Android 15-based FuntouchOS 15.

As far as the camera goes, it has a 50MP primary (f/1.88, OIS), 50MP ultrawide (f/2.0), and 50MP selfie shooter. Features such as Erase 2.0 and Light Portrait 2.0 powered by AI bring a new dimension to the photography experience. It is powered by a 6,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging and comes with an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.

For connectivity, there is dual 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB 3.2 Type-C. The Titanium Grey variant of the phone has 163.29×76. 72×7. 39mm and weighs 189g, while the Rose Red and Starry Night editions weigh 199g and have a small increase in thickness.
