Vivo V29 launched with enhanced performance and Unique Aura Light

  • Vivo V29 is powered by the Snapdragon 778G+ with 8/12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage
  • It comes with a 4,600mAh battery with 80W fast wired charging
  • For the time being, the only colorways we have seen photographs of are Blue and Black

The phone did, in fact, make its debut in Europe earlier this month, but the announcement was short on specifics, especially about the device’s cost and availability. We suppose Vivo waited to release the phone in several markets at once until it was ready.

Vivo V29 specifications and features

Vivo V29

Vivo V29 has a curved 6.78″ AMOLED display with 1,260 x 2,800px resolution, a 120Hz 10-bit panel, and is in the middle between FHD+ and QHD+. In addition to a 4,600mAh battery with 80W fast wired charging (1-50% in 18 minutes, per the manufacturer’s claims). Vivo V29 is powered by the Snapdragon 778G+ with 8/12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Vivo V29

Like other V-series phones, the vivo V29 focuses on providing good camera performance at a reasonable price. It contains a 50MP main camera with a sizable 1/1.56″ sensor (1.0 m pixels) and OIS, as well as the Aura Light, a 15.6mm (0.6″) LED ring light that is the largest in Vivo’s history and is designed to provide more even lighting for portrait photographs. Wide-angle (22mm) lens with autofocus, two LED lights, and a 50MP sensor are all features of the selfie camera. The 8MP ultra-wide camera is also there while turning the device back to the back for a minute.

Vivo V29 colors and availability

We have heard that the V29 will be dust and water-resistant, earning an IP68 designation. The phone will come in four different colors—Peak Blue, Starry Purple, Velvet Red, and Noble Black—each with a unique treatment for the rear glass to make it stand out (for instance, Velvet Red has a color-changing effect triggered by UV light). For the time being, the only colorways we have seen photographs of are Blue and Black.

More than 39 markets, including those in India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Turkey, Mexico, and a few European markets, will offer the V29.

Nevertheless, only the EU sub-site of vivo.com has a page for the Vivo V29; the other sites still have nothing to display. Furthermore, no launch information has been provided on the EU page.
